How do I transfer a copy of Office Ultimate 2007 from the laptop to the PC?
My computer became a paperweight when i tried to "Flash" the BIOS (I thought I was doing a good thing). In the meantime, my boyfriend let me use his laptop for everyday stuff (for about... 4 months, lol). I purchased and downloaded Office Ultimate 2007 and since have fixed my computer. How do I transfer the laptop copy to my newly repaired PC (legally, of course)?
You can't copy the installed software; it relies on registry entries put there by the installer. The best way is to use the installer you downloaded originally, and copy that to your new computer. If you do not have the installer program, you may be able to redownload it if you have the registered download link.
