Controller Nic

nic not operating properly?
i just got a new computer. . .
asus P5N32-E SLI
Q6600
8600gts
4g xmx2
3x500g hdds in raid 5
so after much fiddling and a rma (motherboard was doa) i finally got windows installed
first off: my nics are not showing up with any auto installed drivers or snything at all . . the only thing in device manager witout drivers are 2 "Other PCI Bridge Device" and a "SM Bus Controller"
now my mobo has dual lan so im oging to assume that the 2 "Other PCI Bridge Device" are my nics
the motherboard install cd does not come with any network drivers, and the ones i downloaded from asus (via thumbdrive) do not match the 2 "Other PCI Bridge Device"
does anyone know if theres somethign special i need to do or is it just fubared
also my system will not boot stable with all 4g ram in, only with 2g will it boot
i know there are some bios issues with some of the older bios versions but is there anyhtign else i could do to stabalize this?
For the RAM issue you are probably going to need to 1)flash the BIOS (I won't even come close to guessing how you can make a paperweight doing it wrong) or 2)Make sure you have the correct speed of RAM. Are they all 4 same brand/speed? If not that could be your problem. As far as the NIC not working right, use the installation CD that came with the mobo and use the generic all drivers install to fix it or http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/BIOS/Asus/ASUS-P5N32-E-SLI-BIOS-0902.shtml
Also double check your BIOS and make sure both LAN ports are enabled.

Criminal Background Check Agency
A criminal background check is required for the following individuals:
- Every applicant for an original license
- Every adult (18 or older) who resides at a licensed facility
- Every adult hired by a licensed facility
Each of these individuals must submit a complete set of fingerprints taken by a qualified law enforcement agency to perform a criminal record check by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
Exception
The exceptions are defined in Section 7.701.33 B of Colorado's General Rules for Child Care Facilities.
Each of these individuals must submit a complete set of fingerprints taken by a qualified law enforcement agency to perform a criminal record check by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI).The National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) is a point-of-sale system for determining eligibility to purchase a firearm in the United States of America. Federal Firearms License (FFL) holders are generally required by law to use the NICS to determine if it is legal to sell a firearm to a prospective purchaser. The NICS determines if the buyer is prohibited from buying a firearm under the Gun Control Act of 1968. It is linked to the National Crime Information Center and the Interstate Identification Index among other databases maintained by the FBI.
The National Instant Criminal Background Check System is applicable to sales from federally licensed dealers. Sales of firearms by private sellers are allowed to proceed without a background check unless required by state law. These regulations remain in place at gun shows, where no special leniency is granted to licensed sellers, and no additional requirements are placed upon private sellers.
NICS is accessed by an FFL, on the firearm buyer's behalf, by phone or computer. When contacted by phone, the communication is either with an FBI/NICS Examiner, who directly receives the information submitted by the FFL, or by proxy through a Call Center representative, who forwards the information electronically to the NICS. Whether an Examiner or a Call Center representative is contacted depends on the state in which the sale is conducted. When using a computer, an FFL representative can submit the buyer's information using the E-Check system which is a web interface to the NICS. An FFL can be an individual or an organization such as Wal-Mart. An organization registered as an FFL minimizes the overhead involved in managing identification for multiple individuals who are employed by the organization.
By law, an FFL must receive a response from the NICS within 3 days or the firearm sale can proceed, although they are not required to do so. If, after 3 days, the sale is completed and later it is determined the buyer should not have received the firearm, then the firearm must be retrieved. If a buyer is denied the firearm, the buyer can appeal the decision.
FBI Background Checks
Any individual who has lived in Colorado for 24 or fewer months must also request that the CBI obtain a criminal record check from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The same fingerprint card is used for both the CBI and the FBI background check.
Employees or Volunteers Moving from One Child Care Facility to Another
The employees or volunteers moving from one child care facility to another are defined in Section 7.701.33 D of Colorado's General Rules for Child Care Facilities.
