Connectors Speaker Cable
How do you connect rear speakers to a Hyundai Amica??
Need to fit a cd player to a Hyunadai Amica. The new unit drives 4 speakers.
My problem is to understand if the cabling is predisposed or not. It seems that no cables are present to reach the rear speaker bays because i don't see any cables or connectors.
Anyone know how to connect the rear speakers in this car?

Suggestions on a subwoofer upgrade?
I have a Sony MHC-GT444. When I bought it, seeing the size of the sub (20 cm) I thought it looked pretty decent. Then when I got it all set up and running I realized the cone is made from paper. The subwoofer barely does anything, even when the system is turned up quite loud. I would like a new one to enhance the audio without spending the world on it. Also the Sony has weird connectors on the speaker cable and I can't find the name of them anywhere.
I have put up with it for a few months now but after hearing my parents Technics HiFi earlier it made me realize how bad it actually is. Oh well.

It claims to have a 150w Subwoofer, (400w overall for the system)
that in principle should be more that enough !!!
Looking at the Manual , the main audio amp is 120Hz - 20Khz
and max power is at 10% distortion (which is a lot !)
That says that the subwoofer is meant to be contributing alot to the sound.
if you disconnect it , do you actually notice the difference ?
if not, then I would argue it is faulty.
That said, it is a minisystem.
Minisystems are made for smaller installations, and some just to 'look' impressive, so whilst if you removed the subwoofer you would notice the loss, the sound would be come "thinner", the system was not designed to make really deep bass.
I think you need to look at changing the whole system to true hifi, or at least looking at the spec of the next one, to see of it goes down to 20Hz at the low end. You can get mini systems that are hifi (eg Denon, Yamaha), but, the more I look at this one, the more just changing the subsoofer would be money mis-spent for the cost of a proper subwoofer, you could buy a small Denon - esp one off ebay that someone who has looked after it, wants to upgrade now.
It is noticeable in the Sony spec page they avoid mentioning any frequency spec on the system only.. and it is difficult to see in the manual (online)

One final thought, were you listening to the same CD/ on both systems ?.. .content can make a big difference too. and not every CD has deep bass.
But real hfi is real Hifi for a reason.. it is designed better.
update:
Just look at the little connector (page 15) for the Subwoofer, that is not a proper HiFi connector, more like a cheap way to connect a speaker. Again suggests that despite saying 150w subwoofer, the subwoofer is not powered in itself. Therefore the speaker may be able to take 150w, but the sony minisystem will never give it that.
Changing the cables to better quality ones for the subwoofer eg use 3 amp twin core lighting flex or some reasonable thick speaker cable, for the subwoofer only would make a difference. Thin wires will not do 150watts !
could be the cheapest and simplest way to improve the sound. Just make a join near the connector ... to give youself enough lead to work with if you have to re-do the joints again (eg 3-4 inches) and the rest new thick cable.
