Collar Base
My cat is loosing hair around the base of his tail.?
I did buy generic dry cat food just for the week. He doesn't seem to like it much. Could he be allergic to it? He is healthy, neutered, and up to date on shots. He is a domestic longhair and he sheds a lot. Also, he does have fleas, I just put on a new collar two days ago. Around his tail there is hairloss along with what looks like a rash... Should i bring him to the vet or change his cat food or is it the new flea collar??

thing. It is pink, but when it starts out, is white or pale. Does your cat have that? Talk to your vet and see. Your cat may also have a different kind of rash. Talk to your local vet for more.
