The English Classroom
The learning environment is very important .It has a powerful role in enhancing learning process. Crowded classroom doesn't give students chance to pass the chairs. It also gives some bad students a chance to chat and bothering others. Classroom should be big enough so that, they can walk into classroom in a comfortable way.
Another point, pupils should feel when they enter classroom that they are in English class.(How?). You can do that by hanging posters and hang them here and there which contain photos and vocabulary.Also it makes studnets feel that they are in real English classroom.
English classroom should be organized. So desks, tables, chairs are in certain places .This will make teacher's job easier.
Headphones should be located in four corners .My students suffer a lot when I play cassette recorder .Students who are far from Cassette Recorder cannot hear sounds clearly.
Certain key terms which we can put them in the same group and you feel they are most important should be displayed on the same wall. For instance, vowels sounds could be put in the same group. Pupils spend long time gazing walls. In this way, these key terms will be memorized very easily.
Using suitable mindmap also is helpful to simplify any lesson . So I advice any teacher to use these mindmaps because They have strong effect to improve learning English process. I try it and found it useful.
English classroom is important to us . It encourages us to learn English when it is designed in a propriate way.
