Cartridge Head Shell Making cartridge cases for homemade bullets?
Wow, i just finished reading http://www.scribd.com/doc/5001287/Construction-Guide-Ronald-Brown-Homemade-Guns-And-Homemade-Ammo and i want to make some .410 cartridges. I do not have access to .410 shells, so i have to make them on my own. I was thinking of casting some plastic, but that seems pretty hard. For propellant i'm using ground match heads. The primer will be made of a cap so the anvil will be incorporated in the shell. What do you recommend? If i succeed, i'll post a complete homemade shotgun with homemade shells guide on the internet. I will not be using it for hunting, just for plinking. Ammo would be pieces of the leftover matches, they just seem perfect for plinking.

As far as I'm aware, there isn't any reloading data out there with the pressures involved in using match heads, so you're going down an unknown path.
