Cable Turntables What Sound do i need for my Turntables?
I just got a pair of Numark Turntables and 2 Channel Mixer for my Birthday, now i would like to know what do i need in line with speakers. Do i need an amplifier as well? If i buy some speakers will it have all the necessary cables in order to connect it up to mixer? Never had to buy speakers alone before so i have zero clue as to what i i need. I dont need anything heavy really, as it is just gonna stay in my room and i have a modest budget, but some good stuff would be cool so i can die from too much bass.
Thanks for help.
You need a pair of powered speakers. If you are UK based, Skytronic do some decent ones, or Numark used to. Do a google. You will probably need a twin phono to mini jack lead which does not usually come with the speakers.

Why You Need The Best Dj Equipment Speakers & How To Get 60% Off Retail Prices On The Biggest Names
Dj Equipment Speakers can make the difference! Exactly how very important may be getting one of the best dj equipment speakers for a(starting) dj? Let me tell you that I have been a dj for roughly 6 years nowadays along with among the list of first matters I discovered has been that no matter how great you might be as a dj, it does not matter if you certainly not take advantage of the perfect good quality dj equipment speakers you will get your hands on.
My genre of music is towards goa trance and hard house but I always relax in mixing hip hop and r& b. While in the six years I have done plenty of gigs. From mid large audiences to beginning in friend`s houses, garages in addition to rooms and so on. At the end of any of these gigs 1 point had been evidently tight connected towards the performance from the night`s gig I did. And, that was naturally the excellence in the sound system.
Regardless if I spinned one of the best set I ever did in my life, if the dj equipment speakers I was performing my tricks on that night sounded similar to empty cans of oil being spat at by a couple of hilbillies after cheweing the wrong sort of chewing tobacco then my dj set is going to sound similarly. As I am a perfectionist I have to pronounce that any of those nights I was not happy to now and again being right disapointed concerning it. Very soon I determined I needed to have my own dj equipment speakers and begun to save dollars.
Needless to say, should you be playing a huge gig as a dj then one could assume a respectable sound system to be at hand. However, if you are organising your own parties, arrange your own karaoke parties or are offering your own dj services to third parties then it is of great importance to possess the ability to use a good sounding dj speakers and dj equipment you will get.
When you as being a dj consider fellow dj`s as people like Tijs Verwest(Dj Tiesto) Armin van Buuren or Ferry Corsten you will see that indeed, they only work with the best sound systems available.
I understand as no other that the big difference between Tiesto, Armin, Ferry and the most of us in dj land is not the only one of quality but the one of budget too. Those guy have made millions and therefor has lots of money to spend on the best materials, right?
What about the rest of us? I imagine I've found the answer to that one. . . The internet is the solution for the best deals on dj equipment speakers. The web. . . Who would have thought about that?
Back in the point in time when I got my set of dj equipment speakers there was no such thing as buying via internet as which are the availability of it now. In this moment, this has manufactured mad competition between the providers resulting in?
Correct! High rivalry typically results in Insane discount prices! And, I have found a site online where I personally purchased a complete new set plus turntables in addition to all other dj equipment you'll be able to consider and many products I bought had about 60% bargain on them! I saved top dollar.
