chickens... white egg's?
we have recently started having pale shelled egg's, they are almost white, our chickens are hybrids an we have had them about a year now, we bought them point of lay. i was wondering if there is anything wrong with there egg's as they are usually a lovely bronze colour but sudden layed them almost white?? they are fed on scraps of veg, bread an they also have chicken pellets?
they have always had the same diet an no food or anything has changed so why are there egg's so pale. bearing in mind one day it will be pale an the next a brown colour, the taste no different an we have extremely happy free range eggs. we have 4 hens on a 7acre farm.
Chickens egg colours can range from colours, theres nothing wrong with them with being pale white, it's just in supermarkets they put all the white together and all the brown together so it doesn't look odd

Solid Brass, Iron and Bronze Antique Shelf Brackets - How To Buy Guide
Solid brass shelf brackets are a beautiful way to add elegance and detail to any shelving system while also increasing the strength and durability as well. Throughout history brackets have been used as weight bearing structural elements and can be very simple in design or highly ornate. Although shelf brackets can be made out of several different materials (including stone, wood and metal), solid brass shelf brackets can be cast in a wide variety of intricate designs and finished to match most decorating styles.
These solid brass shelf brackets are a timeless addition to any home. Not only can they be used to introduce new and exciting patterns into otherwise plain shelves, but they can bear extremely heavy weight when properly installed. You can choose designs that range from very simple to highly ornate.
Solid brass shelf brackets are produced today and can be easily incorporated into any decorating style. It is a simple way to introduce a new theme into your home or enhance a previous decorating style. Just be sure to follow a few simple steps when replacing you older shelf brackets or installing new ones. First, remember that weight matters and sometimes shelves can require more than two brackets to support the shelf and items on it. Using brackets in the middle of the shelf will help evenly distribute the weight. Second, tie your new solid brass shelf brackets into the rest of your home by replacing old and worn doorknob sets, cabinet knobs, and lighting with coordinating brass hardware. You can also ask an interior decorator or look to design magazines for additional help and ideas.
Solid brass shelf brackets are readily available online as well as in many home decorating catalogs. Search for solid brass (or iron) construction to ensure durability and be sure to ask questions. When you work with solid brass home hardware, you can be sure that different designs and shapes will come together nicely to create a beautiful theme throughout your home. These solid brass shelf brackets are available online through LookInTheAttic & Company and they offer free design assistance and help.
