Auto Stereo
what connector does what on the back of a kenwood krc-360 cassette receiver (auto stereo)?
do YOU know which is the power wire , which are for speakers......etc.
dont have wire harness, any help would be helpful, thanks
what prong is what ?, starting from the left, if you are looking at the back of the stereo?
there are 10 prongs
If you go to a store and buy the wiring harness for your vehicle the wires are color coded for you so all you have to do is mach the colors up.
I am pretty sure these are correct but it has been a long time since I have installed a stereo without the harness.
Red = Battery switched
Yellow = battery constant
Black = ground
Orange = dimmer
Blue = power antenna
Blue with white stripe = remote amp
The speaker wires are Grey, white, green and purple. With one solid colored and the other with a black stripe. The white and Grey are the front speakers and the green and purple are the rear I think. Hope I have been helpful.
